Thinking of buying a Hawkeye. for Discovery TD5
i need to replace the ride height position sensors.
As i understand it sometimes you get away with a straight swap, and other times you need to reprogram the sensor.
Could Hawkeye reprogram the sensor.
Are they any good, is there anything it cant do on a TD5
Can it make the tea

just disconnect the battery first ,i changed quite a few never needed to reprogram one yet

yea I have one,good bit of kit, will pay for itself after you save money on going to a garage for diagnostics

Thanks Johnlad i just bought one, only got cable that comes with it.
Will i need any extras

Only need another cable if it needs updating but as yours will be a later version than mine was, you should be ok

If it's v.6 or higher it can calibrate nice and easy, you dont need calibration blocks just to support the body with a jack under the towbar or one each side as to have the desired level when hawkeye asks about calibration blocks then prompt yes, easyer than with nanocom

Should be ok then just bought me a Hawkeye, get it tuesday they got to order it from bearmach
