hi have got the range rover bug and really miss mine it was a 97 4.6hse, right ive found a really nice one its a 2000 vogue with lpg done 100k but is imaculate real top spec question is does anyone know if this engine (thor) is anymore reliable or less reliable than the gems engine my previous rangey had many thanks for any help or advice.

after my recent trouble with the gems engine i would look long and hard at the engine. most of the other parts are cheap. that said, the engine ran like a dream until it failed miserably so there may be no way of telling. i think the later models are more reliable but not free from the normal problems. depending on the price your paying it is probably worth investing in an inspection!!

mind you, if i had took my own advice then i would probably be driving a working rangey as opposed to visiting it at w/ends!!
