Anyone able to help me out with buying a second hand range rover?
Max £6000. Would prefer the diesel engine. Have seen one in the north east:
2001 (y) 2.5DSE
4 Doors, Automatic, Station Wagon, Diesel, 100,000 miles, Metallic Red, 1 Owner. FULL SERVICE HISTORY £5,995
Any thoughts?

Sounds about right if it's immaculate and everything works. you need to check everything! Windows up & down, air suspension up and down, no leaks. make sure it starts when hot and so on. When you have checked eveything, do it again!!
Put the air suspension on high and get underneath and look at the airbag suspension units, if they look perished, negotiate on the price

BUY yourself a VERY big tool box+an industrial quantity drum of patience,download RAVE+ cheap little runabout,,,,,,,,cos when its good its the best,when its not you,ll need the runabout........WELCOME to the loony zone by the way.......dave

Apparently the ABS light is on. IS this likely to be a big prob? It's just had new breaks and pads and they are not sure why the light is showing?
