I try to buy local produce (meat, veg) from local farmers and farmers markets (save food miles, support local industry, save local jobs etc)...

I noticed that many of these guys trade (i.e. advertise heavily) on their local produce.

Recently, I decided to take more notice of the Farmers' vehicles... Mitsubishi, Toyota, Nissan...!

What's the game?

They expect us to buy their produce, by trading on "buy local", "support your local farmer", British Farm Assured...but then have a complete lack of any of these principles themselves?

OOOh farmers with no principles who wud have believed it? Whatever is the world coming too.??

And they're all poor and bordering on bankruptcy you know.
