While getting the alternator out tonight, I noticed the pump has a leak at the rear where the splined shaft rotates. Can this seal be replaced ?

C'mon, you know how it goes, if the part costs less that 10p then it's probably obsolete and totally unobtainable!
Honestly, I don't know but I hope you have some luck with it.

It was bugging me so just went and had a look at it. There is an O ring behind a plate that is about 2mm and approx 60mm in dia. It looks in good condition though.
