hi guys sorry to keep asking for help when i havnt helped anyone myself yet. but i found out last night that i had no brake lights. investigated today and i think its the brake switch. i have done a continuity test on the switch and there is no continuity on any pin, so to confirm its the switch which wires on the plug do i need to link out just to test the lights, theres 3 on there. thank you guys

Hi again, pins 1 -3 are NO contact for the lamps, 1 - 2 NC for engine management, if you bridge 1 - 3 in the plug the brake lamps must work if the circuit/bulbs are good, the other NC contact is important too so if it's not normally closed it disturbes the fueling ... here's some info http://www.landyzone.co.uk/lz/1949274-post7.html , see attachment... this will fix only the lights issue not the warnings too...those are a different story;)
