Calipers normally come complete do they not? If not you need to replace the slider pins too.I assume pad carrier is ok, should I get pins too?
Thanks Datatek

Not what I would call complete, you would need the sliders with that.
I would always replace the sliders as they are the bit that give most trouble, the mounting part is just a big lump of metal.Ok, do the sliders normally need replacing or just this part? Can re-use the mounting part?
Excuse the dumb questions Datatek!

12th-April-2013, 12:42I would never buy Britpart especially for brakes, your life depends on your brakes.
The Brit part ones will be refurbished oem parts anyway so can't really go wrong
What makes you think that?
China:brick:
Well I can't say with 100% but this is generally how it is done. When cars are younger you generally have to exchange things like callipers, alts. etc. they are returned to the manufacturer or other companies that refurbish and put back into circulation .
I would think that Brit part have an agreement with such a manufacturer as the cost of tooling for such low demand items would be high. Could well be done in china as you say.

Nothing has changed, if you read my post I merely said that recent posts had said they were OK. An inflexible approach to life helps no one, if several people have had a good experience with a particular part, I see no harm in saying so, just as I say when a part /supplier proves to be crap.12th-April-2013, 12:42
