Can you adjust the (think they are called tangs?) on the bonnet? I thought I had fixed it, but its still not holding the bonnet down on the off side as it should

Sometimes the latches get a bit sticky and don't slide and return as they should strip them out and clean and lube if really bad. The plunger with the spring on that engages in the latch can be adjusted up or down to set gap to slam panel..
