Went out in the morning and all was fine, parked her up in the evening to be greeted with this!!!

Been sat in the sun as it has for the last year or so of ownership and.... Crack... Back panel of glass has split and my bubble has burst... Thank fully not all over the interior...
My thought is to find a manual dip for >99. As it saves the risk of it happening with another second hand unit... But then it would be nice to keep it as original spec as possible...

did it drop directly onto the table ? personally I prefer the auto-dim version. replaced mine about 3 years ago.

It has burst while in the car, I'd removed it late that night for fear of it leaking onto the dash.. sent an email to a company who sell gentek mirrors.
It Was the auto dimming mirror... Was..
