Evening all just purchased a tidy disco 2 TD5 with low miles. Went to change the oil and found one of the oil jet's when I drained the oil. In the process of taking the sump off now and I have now found what's left of a thrust washer... Question can I change the thrust washers in place or is it a lower end re build?. Funny thing is the engine was running smooth as with no noises or clatters.

Interesting! Doubt anyone would have changed either of these without cleaning out the sump, but you never know!
