I don't think this the right section however.
I would just like to post a public thanks.
I crashed my road car (seat Ibiza) on my way home from work and was left in a ditch with my car a write off.
And after half a dozen people simply drove past!!! A lovely v8 turquoise defender 90 stopped and offered to give me a tow out, and asked if I was okay.
So whoever you are many many thanks.
This all happened in the lakes on the Lyth valley road.
So it just goes to say landy drivers are the best people!

Blurry hell I read that as lady drivers, thought you must have hit your head on the windscreen

I have a defender 90 aswell. that's what pulled me out of the ditch. Think ill stick to my landy.
That's why I put it up ill but the man a drink when I find out who it is.

That reminds me. I'd like to add a vote of thanks to a Land Rover Driver who stopped to see if I was OK the other day. My Defender had just cut out on me and wouldn't restart and I was attempting to get through to the AA on a borrowed mobile phone. It was on the A50 to the north west of Leicester on the evening of the 17th of January. Fortunately, the AA sent me a flatbed truck and got me home, but I do appreciate the gesture of someone stopping!
