Hi all, made my first post yesterday so thought I'd best introduce myself properly.
Have a '96 Disco 300TDi which I bought in November and which, as far as I know, is totally standard. In other words standard leaky sunroof, standard soggy carpet, standard rust and corrosion, standard broken door latch springs and reversing switch and so on
Not really had much chance to do much to it other that stick on a set of new tyres, and looking forward to getting on with things and using it in anger.
First job will be a new cambelt which Im getting done professionally (it's some time since I last wielded a spanner!) but will give it a full service once the belt's out of the way. Hopefully it will actually pull a bit afterwards - they'r enot what you call quick are they?
Have been avidly reading up as much as I can and obviously from the threads, there are a lot of very knowledgeable people on this MB - I'm sure I'll be leaning on you all for advice very soon.
