Got a price from Paddock to get it re-re-conditioned.. came out over 300 quid... Got any other parts sites i can take a look at? (for the love of god, don't even mention John Craddocks......)

god the list is long and i dunt know everything off the top of my head, but:
Exhaust valves
Inlet valves
Valve collets
valve guides
valve springs
lift pump
timing chain
timing chain guide
tappet assy.
new pistons with rings
camshaft shells
crank shells
gasket overhaul set
all new sensors/switches
thrust washers
all oil seals
oil filter
little end bushes
exhaust/inlet manifold gasket
sump plug w/ washer
hotspots

and i thiiiinnnnkkkk thats about it, exept for cylinder bore sleeves, which we're gunna get separately.

Also, huno. I would get a exchange, but seeing as i live in france, AND i wanted to rebuild this engine, i'm going to do this instead ;)

your fitting liners ? is it bored to max already

its no problem as long as its done accurately, some of the parts will be poor its just a fact nowadays with low selling stuff, you might want to add valve guides unless your have old one lined

SHOULD be done accurately, i'm getting it done by a specialist, same for the head, it's gonna be fitted out by a specialist.

3 or 5 bearing block ? A couple of years ago I did a very old 3 bearing block and Craddocks where the only ones with correct main bearing shells. The location tag on the early ones is in a different place to later ones. So £10 set of shells goes up to £60.
Your £300 parts list is very cheap for the amount of parts, Iv'e just paid £120 for a motorcycle piston.
I think I mentioned before to leave the bottom skirt ring off the pistons if they come with them fitted. Pot luck from Paddocks I got two with ring and two without in one set.
