hi all, mite be opening a can of worms here but what would be the best engine to swap my petrol 2.25 with in my 90 , its a 1985 . everyone have spoke to about it has diffrent opinions on 200tdi and 300tdi , am wanting a more economical engine as am only getting around 25 mpg from mine! and how easy the conversion is any advice would be a help, thanks , :dance:

Hang on - you're getting 25mpg?

I only get 27 from a td5 (admittedly in a 110)
Seems a lot of work and expenditure for 2-3 mpg, unless you're doing humongous mileage?
