At least you got rid of them stoopid wheels and the rubbish stripe up the side.....Looks a lot better......

mmmm..dont mention the fookin stripe...

striped all the paint cleanly of the feckin doors when i took em off, sprayed em with aerosol for the mo and i leave it dirty so you cant tell.

im respraying it in the next couple of weeks when i can make me mind up on colour

the roof bar in the last pic i have just replaced with a first four version as in the 1st piccy.it sits a lot lower and i think it looks better

:hysterically_laughi Excellent

Nice motor Wiltshire, Not sure about the roof lights, think the black rectangular ones are better. But the rest looks great.

I'm hunting stainless rock and tree sliders at the moment, been quoted £500 so far and so may have to settle for black coated ones.

I believe Iannotts is about to start doing rocksliders. It may be worth sending him a pm.;)

used to have rectangular roof lights, there ok if you wanna light up your bonnet and about 10ft in front of your landy, the ones on at the mo give a massive long throw pencil beam light and certainly light up a huge distance in front of ya,im happy wiv them now as this is the 4th set of roof lights i have tried,

my rock sliders were an ebay bargain, there heavy duty ones and brand new inc postage i paid £100!!! well happy wiv that.

can i ask why you want stainless sliders?
surely there gonna get scratched and bashed about?
unless its for the school run of course:D

Is the winch and light set up on the front an issue with air flow into the radiator? Don't suppose its an issue if you don't do long journeys.

I had a leccy winch with bridged solenoid on my 300tdi ( It's higher than a standard winch) and I also had the number plate fitted to the grill. The only problem I ever had with cooling was due to me blocking the radiator with mud on salisbury plain.

Re your stripes, have you tried using a hair dryer to melt the glue? takes time but i've done it on others and they come off cleanly
