had loads of fun splashing about in the floods then a few days later noticed my gear changes were get ting a bit rough , thought it was me ! Anyhow couple of days later I drove to Newark and by the time I arrived at auto jumble gears felt a bit notchy !!! Im thinking linkage etc may be a bit tight from rust etc , drove home fine although gearshift felt a bit strange seeming to get stiffer the further I drove ! After getting home I decided to drop gearbox oil to see what's happening and guess what came out ?? Pink milkshake !! A lot of it ! So it just shows you as I've got all breathers properly routed up high wading plugs etc so if your having any gear related probs it's worth changing oils etc after playing in the floods!! I've since corrected the actual problem ( damaged breather pipe )
Living the dream!!!

Consider yerself lucky it wasn't salt water or else you'd just be holding a steering wheel atop some panels.
