Generic "plug in" tuning solutions will never be as good as individual vehicle ECU remapping.
No two engines are exactly alike so you pay your money and take your choice.
I'm sure they will do what they say on the tin but maybe you could do even better with a custom mapping to your exact requirements.
What do the Bearmach ones cost?

TD5 Alive would be a better bet to get an accurate map just for your engine, not cheap either but alot better than "universal" map plug ins.

About £300 I think, which is not cheap, but it is convieient.

I agree that individual reamapping would be better, its just TD5 alive and the others all seem to be a million miles away!

Have you had a remap? If so was it worth it and how much did it cost in comparison with these plug-ins?

i no a friend of mine got his fast road tuned by TD5 Alive an said it was the best thing he ever did, not sure on the price tho sorry, probably depends on the amount of stuff needed on the map and time an stuff

Mine has modified Stg2 TD5 Alive mapping. Not cheap but you pay for Gary's experience. He can do mapping by post or Nanocom if you have one but really he needs to see how your engine operates to get the optimal mapping for your driving style and requirements.
I have no complaints after almost three years and two engines.
