I am missing the lid from my passenger seatbox on my early 90 [1984]. Can anyone tell me if any 90 or defeender one will fit or even a Series model? I want to buy one on the forum or Ebay but need to be sure exactly what I need.

If you mean the metal battery cover plate that goes under the passenger seat squab. I just got a new genuine Land Rover one from paddock. Wasn't too dear £23 I think, went straight on no messing about. If you need part number I can check invoice in a bit.

They are different so make sure you get the correct one.
You may think they are just a flat piece of metal but they have ribs on the underside and if you try to put one with wide ribs onto a seatbox that has a narrow opening then it won't fit, you can remove the ribs but it is easier to get the right one in the first place.

Made two for mine out of some s.steel sheeting i had lying about, total cost, nish.
