I've had my replacement transferbox sat on the bench for 4 months waiting for me to get off my arse and fit it (snapped the rear output shaft on the one that's in!)only problem is the gearbox needs attention too.So, just by chance a friend of mine said he had an 'old' box at the back of the shed so I went to have a look at it and its a s3 suffix D condition unknown. I bit the bullet and bought it for a small fee and went home to fit it.
I swapped the bellhousing for my 2a one dropped it in and result! An absolutely perfect gearbox,it's gonna be strange not having to hold it in gear! :D :D

Nice one :)

I've got a series 3 box at home in the shed thats stood for a few years. When I've got my series on the road may rebuild it as a project, if that doesnt work out I've always got it for spares :)
