Just bought 2001 td5 discovery with air con but the ace has been removed it has a pulley where the pump used to be i need to change the belt as its cracked this may be a stupid question but do i need a belt for aircon and ace or for just aircon

If the ACE pump was replaced with a pulley you need only aircon belt cos the vehicle is like those without ACE from factory with that pulley fitted...and get only genuine belt

Yes thanks checked it out with landrover in the meantime belt being delivered in the morning
