140 mile round trip today, 5 miles from home box would not change gear or kick down, gearbox display on binnacle was out and sport button would not work. Got home and it would go in reverse and park, stopped the engine and display said gearbox fault so pulled the key out, put key back in and started engine, everything back to normal took it a run and no problems. Should I worry or just a glitch.

Usually get this fault on Rangies fitted with coil springs. The ride is to harsh and causes things to work loose.

Might be a bad or dirty connection.

Yea **** happens all the time like that, i turn off and on again and its gone

Ok cheers guys, so looks like its nothing to worry about, took it out for a run about tonight and no probs, now if I could just work out why the mileage on my Alfa is flashing afters its service.

Noticed that I get no problems if I don't play with the sport switch.
