I haven't driven my l322 for some months and after taking it out of winter storage, I have a few issues that maybe someone can advise on.

The first is on starting sometimes the gear selector indicator doesn't illuminate on the dash and it won't start, it takes a couple of attempts of cycling the key and buy holding the key in the start position it fires !

Next is after I moved the car out I noticed some transmission fluid on the floor of the garage, when selected in drive you have to really rev the car to get it to move almost as if it had a slipping clutch. Also when going from drive to reverse and park the box is quite violent.

Is this down to lack of fluid, advise would be gladly welcomed.

Sounds like it could be a low fluid problem or low battery causing issues
Wouldn't use it again until you get the gearbox oil level checked !

What engine does it have?
You say 'some transmission fluid', how much is 'some'? If it's just lost a few hundred ml, I wouldn't imagine it would effect the box like that effects you say your having, but if it's lost a few litres on the other hand....

sort that out and take it from there - a litre is 10% of the fluid level...

Starting issue could be the fob battery needs changing? Try your spare! just had that problem with my p38.

I am ++ on checking the gearbox level before any more journeys. And fix the leak.

Don't need any battery's in the key fob for it to start on a l322

well you chose the right username;)don't drive it if slipping/crawling cause its going to make a big bang when it jumps into top gear which can fracture g/b casing rendering it scrap/un reconditionable

Maybe all the electrics have got damp and the ignition switch is fecked. Certainly sort the gearbox oil as a first step.
