Hi all,
just a quickie for those who asked to be updated on my g/box repair at k motors independant l/r centre in leyland. Everything seems great at the moment, they fit a recon box and i cant belive the difference in the way it drives. Its so much smoother than the old one, it changes gear effortlessly. if only i had known this is how they should drive i may of been able to sort it sooner!! anyway shes back now and ok. As for K motors they were brill, very profesional set up, w/shop in new unit on a secure industrial estate. very polite and most of all the cheapest quote around my area.

they also lrdirect? they do parts if they are, from that website and are excellent. best parts place I have ever used.

I am just guessing they are the same as I know the have workshop section too and are in leyland.

No, too busy at the moment, it's the holiday season with my Gite. The car still runs and after 2 oil changes and the power box removed it behaves if I'm careful. I've started stripping the old spares dog to get at the spare box.
