MUDDEE

Its about time i sorted myself out with some new tyres, the dilemma is what to go for. ive got my eye on some mud terrains 20% on road 80% off, now i like the look of these for my disco. im just worried about how they perform on the road. i had a scare last year on the a14 coming back from one of the landy shows, outside lane about 70 mph and some **** decides to pull out in front of me, i had to swerve to avoid him and the back end gave way from left to right about 3 or 4 times, scary as hell i can tell ya. i was running on 50-50's and the road was dry.
i do play in the mud quite a bit but also do a fair amount of traveling and towing.
so should i throw caution to the wind and go for the mud terrains or stick with the 50-50's.
be good to here from those of you who do run on mud tyres. any comments welcome.
WHAT DO YA THINK !!

if i were you i would stick to a/t's as they are good enough for on road but can cope well enough offroad. if you are planning on going in the real muddy stuff yhen get a set of m/t's on steel rims as alloy rims fracture too easy. ;)

i go along with yella disco. get a spare set of cheapo metal rims and stick the off roadys on them.

I can see what you chaps are saying, good idea, but i dont want to lug an extra set of wheels half way across the country for the landy shows and mud runs.
so what ever i decide on they gona have to stay on.

got a decent trailer mate, but you ever been to the billing show, its like sardines in a can :)

nope never been mate. would love to go though. maybe this yr if the wifee allows me out.

spin her the usual story, thats where ya get all ya cheap service parts from.
infact the only place that sells them.;)

ormus m8 i think the bulbs gone in ya name light, im sure some one on here has got a wiring diagram for the forum. or if ya just hideing its allright nigels gone now. :D

:)
its a landy bulb, what do u expect?
think it worked for 1 day, never worked since. too much trouble to replace it. i dont need it and ive no idea what its for anyway......

sorted myself out with some tyres, colways at's 65 quid for two including delivery. i gota say they definitely look the part and seem to handle the roundabouts at 60 mph. ;) yet to test them in the mud.
