Hi - first post!

I was wondering if there were any members who would be able to assist in tracing the service history for my imported TDi300. It did not come with any history. Whilst it's an old vehicle and not worth much, it's actually in remarkably good condition and so I'd like to see if I can trace the service history. I was told it spent it's life in China and came back to UK in 2004.

Previously I had Citroen van without a book, but did come with a print off of the history so I managed to buy a new blank one and got the dealer to retro stamp the service book as they had the records on file.

I'm kinda hoping I could do the same, even if it means putting the book in the post to China!

Am I wasting my time or are there any members in the trade who could assist ?

sorry cant help with the history .. is it a jap import ?? cos they do usually arrive in good nick , problem is i'm sure they have little or no winter and salt protection so it may be a good idea to get it waxed at some point ... welcome on board and post some piccies ...

Yes she is in amazing rust free condition underneath and in all the usual places. The only negatives are the paint is somewhat faded on the roof (bloomed) and a bit on the bonnet and no service history.

It's a 1997 metallic willow green, 44k on the clock. Obviously the mileage could have been clocked, but I've had in excess of 30 cars over the years and know what I'm doing and the more I work on the car and probe away, the more I'm convinced it could be genuine.

Everything feels tight and it's so clean and original everywhere you look. I originally bought it as a weekend hack, but it's far too good for that !
