I use to use tesco oil in my old rover 216. Never had any problems with it for 2 years. Up to you though, a 216 is cheaper to do things to than a rangie.

Keep the receipt, then you can sue Asda if your engine goes pop

Personally I'd sooner spend £60 on 10 litres of good quality branded oil, it's cheaper than a new engine and all the hassle

go ge some comma oil it is the best value oil out there, if you want reeeeeeallly good oil go for valvaline if you go into some participating motorfactors you can get some oils from the comma range buy a 5l can and get your top up 1l can for free!

i have had experience of asda oil before it looks like oil but even me dads old dumper didn't like it
