Please accept my humble apology for the post "Looking For a Tool"
yesterday. It wasn't meant to offend you and it will not happen again.
If you see any more messages advertising our site I assure you it will
not be coming from me or our staff so please inform me immediately so
I can put a stop to it.
Some groups are monitored by a moderator with charters in line to
prevent emails with advertising.

My Sincere Apology

So what happened? An apology without an explanation doesn't mean much.

Dude spammed the newsgroups with an advertisement.

I realize that. I was asking him why it happened. He alludes to some 3rd
party making the post, but doesn't elaborate. Sounds kinda fishy.

That's probably because it's the oldest excuse in the database.

If you don't know what happened, then you couldn't have been
offended. And if you weren't offended, then the apology doesn't
apply to you, does it?
