Ive just purchased another disco off ebay - ill take all the bits off it to support our current ride, and then weigh in the rest.

I plan to strip it fairly bare, so it will just be the chassis and shell (with doors etc) that will go in.


Just wondering if anyone has weighed one in recently and what sort of money they got? I know steel is very low at the moment, but im also wondering if i might be able to convince more cash out of them, due to the aluminium content?


Again, ill be selling as metal, rather than a car for breaking, as ill have broken it for myself anyhow.

You may get a bit more due to the alloy but cant see it being much as it takes work to strip it off ,i got £50 for a running diesel 306 recently as scrap price is well down

Seperate the ally from the steel and youl get more as itl go thru as mixed so you may get 50 quid but more as ally and steel
