I did make my flight.
No beef at all with Easyjet, but when the chief security bod in his pob pretty much agrees that a cordless screwdriver isn't specifically on the CAA list of items which are specifically prohibited from being carried onboard and goes on to say that he wouldn't overule the nice lady who poked around my dirty underwear (inside the case, not what I was wearing - ok?) because he'd end up in front of a CAA disiplinary panel in Londinium, one has to wonder what he's doing there as a supervisor.
A cynic could think that there might be some 'background' interaction between the security team that uses discretion to decide what can fly and what can't, and the company that will now quote me for posting it back to me or make it available for collection for a tenner.
