I had the driver side windscreen trim off to route a DAB aerial cable and saw this. It had a plastic cover over it that fell off as I took the trim off. Just wondered what it was. Looks like the wire off it has been snipped.

Antenna for tracking? I assume the cable was cut by someone else when the device was removed.

or even a antenna for the radio as the one that is on is useless

Could be a phone antenna or for the remote FBH option

More then likely a phone kit antenna

Looks like a GSM pcb antenna.
