That needs refacing by the look of it from piccies.
Check the note of the anvil with a hammer. All the way along it should have a different note which should ring off just a drop lightly of the hammer and the hammer should feel lively against the surface. If it falls dead it needs refacing![]()

Trewey, there is an ex navy surplus scrap yard in st Mary Bourne on all the old boats they had a smiths forge. The scrap yard is full of fly presses, anvils, (tanks) and the majority of them are in great nick![]()
