Land Rover containing 2,000 of tools stolen in Malvern (From Cotswold Journal)

"A SILVER Land Rover Discovery registration FX51 KAM and an Ifor Williams trailer were stolen from the driveway of a house in Coombe Green, Malvern, between 7pm and 7.13pm on Friday, August 29.
The vehicle contained about £2,000 of building tools and two wallets containing cards and cash and was seen being driven towards Gloucester."

Bad news that,but why were the wallets, cash and cards left in a vehicle?

I leave mine in my d1 when just popping in/dropping something off,

However by now I'd expect the Land Rover to of been either broken up and burnt

ok,that is your choice to do that,but my money,credit/debit cards never leave my pocket,unless to use them.

and how are you expected to work with them in your pocket? a builder with a fat wallet in his pocket , shovelling, blocking etc? as with the weather, we have only been wearing a pair of shorts, no shirt, so where do you put it then? in the car as said nipped out, then an opportunist or a planned job!

DD,i am not calling anyone for leaving their valuables in their car,but at least hide them if leaving the car.yes there are lots of thieving scrotes about.
