hi guys,

Ive got a p38 DSE 175k A/t running well (engine wise) but when im accelerating and drop a gear and stay in high revs it squeels, is this a fan belt?

if so is there a whole lot to changing it?

wheres the mother in law when this squeeling is going on???

try letting her in the car and untie her from the bumper!!

ahhhhhhh i knew i left her some where.......!

been looking on RAVE there and cant seem to see anything with fan belts. any ideas?

hi ,its quite straightforward,put long screwdriver or bar on the fan belt tensioner,and push down,will let you take belt off,and look at the way the belt is on,pat

ok so basicly the pully is spring loaded?

just draw a diagram of the route the belt takes.

on a petrol its sooo much easier!
