Hi, I am new to.this forum and would really appreciate some advice. I have a 2005 freelander 1td4 that has developed an annoying intermittent misfire when the engine reaches normal temperature. As I say it only starts when the engine is up to temperature and seems to be at any engine speed. Coincidently, the fuel gauge developed a fault ie. shows a full tank all the time, when the misfire started. I don't know if this could be related in some way. The car has done 120k miles and had the h.p. fuel pump replaced at 80k and the low pressure pump replaced at 54k . Any ideas would help please.

not unheard of with the BMW M47 engine, my last FL1 started a misfire on a light throttle, pushing down on the throttle or letting it up even slightly cured the misfire, it would seem to be a fueling problem probably caused by the ECU misbehaving, I eventually exchanged the car for another which so far has not had the problem
