Hi guys

Bought genuine amk compressor going to fit it monday do i need to lower the suspension to access mode before swapping over or dosnt it matter.

Nope. Assuming it's a P38, the EAS compressor can be changed at any height. Undo 3 nuts & disconnect the pipe to the valve block.

It isn't, obviously again someone has not read the first post in the section.

If it is in Fault mode, chances are it won't allow you to lower the her..

You should be able to replace it with her in standard height..

However assuming you have the tech to erase any faults, it might be worth clearing the faults with the current compressor and seeing if it'll stay out of fault mode long enough to allow her to lower!

Suspension works guys just got a chinese compressor on at the moment its ery noisy so havnt got long left so going to change it while its still working.

Also sorry should of stated its a 2008 RRS not thr P38
