Hi just wondering if anyone can help i have a 4.6 v8 p38 and the battery keeps going flat on a daily basic is there a reason for this? Also does any one no how to set the alarm off because i can lock and superlock it but can leave the window open and climb in no alarm will sound? and the indercators never flash to say the car is locked.

It's the little black box that sits under the shelf (R.H. side) by the rear parcel shelf. Picks up the signal from the keyfob and apart from unlocking the doors, wakes the Becm up, which in turn increases drain on the battery.
 
Un plug it... It'll mean yer gettin closer to the car to use yer Keypad ..but hey ho its better than the price of a new battery every 6 months!!!
 
sorry kev dont take the one with 3 wires on. take the one with one wire off, is what i should have said.. stoopid stoopid me, i going to give myself a good talking to..
 
ok 3 wires stays on. one wire you take off. do you park your car on your drive? if you do move it away from your house, it will be your wifi waking your becm up, and making your bat go flat..
