So i had just bought a lovely P38A vogue. everything works great. Apart from the air suspension it dose work but very slowly. Followed with a loud ticking coming from the pump under the hood. At first i thought that the air tank under the driver floor was leaking. But if anyone has an idea please tell me. Thanks

A Hood is a Bonnet - and the Air Cylinder is Passenger side :D:D:D: (Just being a pedant!)

Sounds like you compressor is due a rebuild.....follow Wammers How To Guide for testing the EAS - this can be found in the Technical Archive section...

EDIT: - Actually I can't remember which side it is on the P38 - gonna have a check....

OK....Right Hand side of chassis - so yes, Drivers side (UK).....opps :oops:

Sounds like the airsprings may be leaking which is a common cause of compressor failure. The airtank is on RH side. Melted air pipes from a blown exhaust is another possible cause.

Slow rise is caused by lack of high pressure air. Check compressor for correct function.
