Right been in LR today

there chief mechanic tells me my Air Sus is making a terrible noise (which i knew about) but he says its because its mounted upside down...?

then he says the only way to resolve the problem is to permanently remove the LPG (this aint gonna happen!)

is he right...? is there a way to fix it myself...? or a LPG conversion guy?

***(the foam you can see in the pic is solid an when i hold it the noise stops)***

:wtf:

is that an l322? if so the best mod is to move the cmpressor extend pipe and cables to one of the trim panels on the sides of the load bay and make up a new foam mount or as my mate did an aluminium box covered with foam this is what he had to do with his after his lpg conversion due to the compressor being noisey.

can all that be explained a bit further mate, im not 100% sure what you mean (not very clued up on them... yet)

its a 52plate vogue, if that helps?

lol ive just read it again and understand your saying

going to speak to the LPG place tomorrow, see what they recommend, then decide whether to do it myself or...

basically your lpg tank is where your compressor was and by the looks of the pictures the compressor has been poorly mounted it really needs moving and mounting in the correct orientation to keep the noise down. The ideal place after lpg fitment is in one of the load space side panels.Or just get it mounted so it does not vibrate.

thanks man ill be right down to the local lpg garage tomorrow to see if they can sort it for me an see what the cost is
