Trying to sort my air con out now!! i have had a wining noise from the front end for about 6 months now, so 2day i thought i would sort it out, borrowed stethoscope (mechanics one) from a m8 of mine, and it seems to be coming from the air con pump, (sounds like a bag of bolts crashing in to each other) so it sounds like a bad, and expensive fix....unless anyone knows any better?

so....anyone have an easy fix?
anyone know the part number of the unit if theres no easy fix
and the cheapest place to get one from

having said that, i would take a guess and say it was the bearings by the sound of things, is there a kit, or just bearings?

where do you guys get your parts from, please though don't recommend Britpart stuff (can i say that?) i have had bad results from them (i have a Series II 1958 Landy) and have been very disappointed in the quality of the parts from them

Yea thanks for that Hat, i saw it a few hours back, but it always get me thinking why it was taken off in the first place, i wouldn't mind betting most are recon parts anyway, i have no problem with that as long as 1 its cheap, 2 theres a kit to change the inners (barrings etc) but if its cheap enough its always a good way to go about doing it, it can be fully serviced while the old one is on the Landy, and when swapped over it can always again be serviced with a kit and sold on, that way its not cost you anything for a "New" part, i will keep an eye on it though

but anyone know the part number or if and where i might get a servise kit from? thanks again guys
