My offside swivel bearings are just about dead the ball hasnt had any chrome on for the last 3years, mate was binning some perfectly servicable 10 spline swivels assys complete balls shafts etc
As this is my main motor what Im thinking of doing is building up the ball and housing from his old parts, then just bunging it on my motor so downtime minimal.
Mines a 24 spline set up so all I want is the chrome ball and housing, anyone know if they are the same ie threads etc?
ps did I mention Im a tight cnut

defender 10 spline chrome balls have a bearing at the bottom and bush at the top ,24 spline chrome balls use bearings top and bottom so arent interchangeable

If it's just the balls then no, if it's the full assembly then it should bolt straight on

If it's just the balls then no, if you have the full assembly them it will just bolt straight on to the axle
