So you may have seen my post in the general section- new here - I'm just looking to understand how I can get to the compartment under the steering wheel. Managed to lodge my phone under there and can't for the life of me get it out.

There seems to be a panel on the driver door side? But I'm not sure if that is meant to come off? And if there's a knack to doing so....I'm worried I'll snap it off!

If anyone can help I'd really appreciate it.

does it not come off using a coin to turn 2 plastic screw heads?
