Hi Guys,

Got a problem with the accelerrator? When the engine is off, the pedal works fine and there is no resistance. When I start the engine it idle's fine and have no problems with starting. But when I try pressing the pedal it gets stuck. It started at about 30 mph and I had to put extra pressure to the pedal to accelerate? and to date started the car and the pedal was none responsive from the get go! I had to put extra pressure on the pedal to move any ideas? I have a 1999 4.0 se (thor) thought it might be the accelerator cable not sure yet? except when the engine is off no resistance???

I'd suspect some corrosion on the cable or that the throttle butterfly/spindle needs a clean.
