Hello :D As its the weekend i cant find out from landrover so has anyone got any clue how much the two ABS relays are likely to cost as mine look fried!! (hopefully not a more serious problem causing it!) Or if anyone has any spare ones i could buy? (These are the two yellow ones in the main fusebox)
Cheers Ian.:)

What model RR is it??

I can look for the part nos. on my copy of the EPC and let you have a rough cost of new ones;)

RL2 is Siemens V23134-B52-X127
YWB 100 12
12V

As for RL17 ???????? not sure (see pic) I think the white paper is off an old fuse box cover!!!
Looks a state i know
Just trying to upload another pic but will post after.
Ian.

The yellow relay (RL2) is AMR 2548 and is a normally open relay also used for the front heated screen as well as other functions so you can substitute one of these to troubleshoot-Price is £5. 16 incl. VAT.

The black relay (RL 17) is the ABS Pump Relay, Part No. PRC 9566 and is specific-Price £27. 60 incl.VAT

Both are listed on Rimmer Bros. website.

I take it, looking at the photo's that we are talking about a P38.

Hope this helps.;)

As an afterthought, it may be worth while looking at the condition of the fusebox itself as these have been known to corrode on P38's. This will cause the contacts on fuses and relays to get hot. One opinion is that vapour from the expansion tank which has anti freeze in it causes the corrosion.;)

Yes sorry forgot to say p38, Thats great, much cheaper than i expected. I had an orion once and was quoted £60 for a fuel pump relay typical FRAUD prices.
Thanks for all your help. Ian.
