hello i have been driving with the abs fault light on to long now so i read out the errors today but the only error code i got was 2-4 and i cant find that code any where. Can anybody help me?

What fault code reader did you use to get this code ?

Nanocom 2-4 - Battery volts if this give u any indication

I had an ABS fault on my Disco, Its was a seatbelt pretensioner that was knackered!!!

I used the blink method.

First i get one long and one short blink. And then i gives to short and then 4 short.

If your car is a Discovery 1 the ABS fault code 2-4 means Recirculation pump motor locked .
To check this you need to disconnect the 35 pin connector from the ABS ECU and connect a WABCO or LR diagnostic connector to the cable connector and connect pins 9 and 11 Switch the ignition on and the modulator pump should work if not it indicates the modulator needs replacing . Sorry it is a Discovery 1 1996 300 tdi.

I am not the happy owner of a WABCO or LR diagnostic connector

what about connecthing it direct to 12 volt and see if it works?
