Evening everyone,

Haven't been on here for a while as everything has been running lovely....However recently my 1999 2.5 diesel has developed a squeak from the front end and a ticking from the right front wheel.

Firstly the squeak...I have changed the fan belt and air con belt. However after about a minute or two she squeaks only when on idle. Idler? Could it be anything else?

And also the a ticking has developed when I am either turning the wheel or going slow. It might be happening when I go about 20 however probably can't hear it. The sound is like a stone in the tyre. Bit concerned as doing a 500 mile round trip next week to Cornwall with the caravan:/

The squeak is the tensioner pulley I think, the bearings

But what about the clicking around the front wheel? Would it be anything to do with the power steering? Or a wheel bearing? ??

CV joint maybe. Check the VCU.
