When you replace the rear drop links are they under any compression or tension? Or is it just a question of undoing the nuts, sliding (or punching) them out and slipping in the new ones?

I suppose the same question applies to the front, but it’s the rear ones I need to do.

they are not under tension if vehicle is sat level, but if you jack up one side you apply tension
