I need to remove the skin for the squab from the drivers seat, I have the pictures and description from RAVE but not sure what to do and don't want to damage the skin. I have removed the little clips as shown in RAVE, but there is a metal strip about a foot long that appears to be holding the leather. Does this have to be forced off somehow?:confused:
Any help appreciated:D

there is a very tight strip of plastch attached to the material and the seat base metal frame, only way is brute force i'm afraid. if you can slip a metal ruler in there it should come off a little easier.

then there are hog rings holding the seat side of the material to the foam. cut/bend em till you can get em out then when you replace it all use tie straps, tie wraps or whatever they are called. you need the large ones for strength.

hope that dont sound too big headed!!!
