Why?

Well the decision to finally buy a defender has been taken.

Ok. A bit about myself. I have just been made redundant from the army and I am looking at living in Germany. As I can't speak fluent German yet I am looking at mowing people's lawns so at least I can earn a bit of money. Hence the lander rover. I thought being an English man driving a 90 would add to the sense of occasion!

I am ideally looking at a defender 90 to chuck the mower in and something not too expensive especially to until the lawn mowing becomes successful in the near future.

There is a 90 that has been re-posted on here. It is a 2.5 petrol. Is it worth a pun meaning could I afford to drive it back to Germany. Oh and I need to double check the emissions on importing. Hmmmmmmm

I would go 110 for trade matey. Not that much room in the back should you need to diversify with hedge cutters, strimmers etc.

get yourself an ex mod 110 you should be well familiar with them and they are a tad different and easily available in LHD for german registration simples
