Took a 110 along for company - he can't go solo in case he breaks down

It's always great to get out.

I did a short lane last weekend, but was on my own, apart from the mrs beside me. We did walk most of it the night before.

That's Sares Wood (Tincleton/Affpuddle) and Whiteway Hill into Corfe. Both "scratchy", the latter was only 3ft wide and needed a fair bit of "pushing through".

Is there a missing picture that should be between 1 & 2?? I want to see the bit after you're quite clearly indicating left and about to go up that banking??

Great to see someone with a Freelander getting out and having some fun and using it for what it was designed for and what it is good at.

Did a bit of laning in January near me, including one very muddy track alongside a field which I got across in my '02 TD4 on road tyres albeit very slowly and sweating a bit. Took my 300 TDi Disco the following weekend thinking it was sail through it and got it cross axled twice (and that was on new Cooper Discoverers). There are some situations where you are better off in a FL!

Having spent most of the last 8 years using a Disco3 or a Puma 90, it was really 1) comfortable and 2) fun using the FL. Very glad I bought this one for general hack duties
