hi everyone i need some help,i got myself a nice td5 110 crewcab and i absolute love it.i live in brighton but am new to the landy scene can anyone help me with the best places to go for some training in a land rover.i have done loads of moto x in the past but really wanna make a go with my land rover and i need all your help pls
im from ebourne mate!! some good pay and play places are boxgrove pit and slindon safari and core4x4, those 3 are in chichester/arundel area mate and held on sundays.
theres also another place which ive yet to go to, and thats called piccadily wood just of the a23 near horsham.
apart from that mate grab your self a o/s map and check out some of your local greenlanes. just stay within the byway rules.

If you want to go on a course first, try Land Rover Experience.
There are various centres, I`ve been to two (Solihull and Milton Keynes) and one was better than the other, both on terrain and instructor.
If you go on the websites of the various centres and can travel at short-ish notice look for the special offers - if they have two people booked but need a third for example there is usually a good discount.
They do a full day beginners and a full day advanced plus various other more specialist courses - all in tbeir cars so book the model nearest to yours (it will be a 110 s/w). I wouldn`t bother with the half-day course - if it comes free with the car great, but I wouldn`t pay for it, having said that see whats on offer.
Might be worth a trip to Billing this weekend if you fancied a vertical learning curve into the world of LandRovers, but maybe best not to venture onto the off-road course till you`ve had a bit more experience - if you are like me you will want to make your mistakes more privately first............................

i'd defineatly reconmend training before going to a pay and play
a novice in off roading will ALWAYS learn something new from proper training by a specialist, a place near me you can ring up before hand and book a training session if youve not been to a pay and play before, its a great idea i think.

i dont think its essential, i started doing some pay and play days and you just start easy get harder with help from someone else.
